The head sculpt on the AWE driver (Crankcase) is very good.
But I'm wondering if anyone else thinks these guys give off a very 25th Anniversary vibe, which is weird because it doesn't necessarily fit with the 50th/PoC/Modern look of SS, Snake Eyes, and other Retro figures.

Quick edit: I'm still glad he's been released at all, though. And the fact that he sells out as soon as preorders are re-stocked is nothing but good news for us 4" folk.

Message we're trying to send to Hasbro:
The more new tooling we get to match the POC aesthetic and create definitive versions, the more we buy. |

Thanks for posting the pics. I LOVE that HISS Driver. It's a great update over the original 25th and ARAH versions, which were both among my favorite Cobra designs ever. The new head sculpt is great (it's my favorite part about the figure), and I love that he no longer has the goofy thigh holster with the ridiculously huge flap.
So, we have a new head, Data Viper torso and arms...whose legs are those? And is that vest new?

Fortunately, I have several extra 25th Anniversary stands in my fodder pile, so I'll manage to get by without new ones.

The Cobra H.I.S.S. Driver does come with a Cobra Trooper stand. It’s located inside the Turret. The stand did not rattle when I gave the bag a shake, but it was found wedged down inside there. At least it is a dual peg stand, whereas the 25th Anniversary ones were of the single peg variety.
