I don't buy it. Unless the mask overlaps his "shirt", the collar line is just too perfect.

I would imagine the color variation is Destro's pimpish proclivity to lather up with a generous supply of cocoa butter. Mindbender is just a pasty dentist after all who draws on his muscle lines with eyeliner.

Saying two separate people have two different skin tones isn't really much of an argument for Destro wearing a shirt.

Looks like I missed out on the latest chapter of Destro's chest debate (long long Sunday nap). We didn’t spring this out of thin air this time. Based on sbarty`s in hand check and pics, the chest color has been corrected to a truer flesh color. This may vindicate some fans, upset others, titillate a few (not judging, you do you), and throw off the rest.

I believe the original design was no undershirt. The yellowish paint used is not unlike some flesh paint or molds from around that time.
I never saw it though as bare chested until modern times, never having really given it any thought before that moment of realization.

As I said a few pages back, I think the color correction will throw me off personally, but will appreciate it as time goes by. To be continued undoubtedly when more of us get this figure in hand.
