I think Hasbro is playing the game of just using new sculped head for the vehicle drivers so collectors feel the necessity to buy them for the new figure.
Looks to me like the single carded figures are going to be done the easy route, what ever the last incarnation was, let's use it and repainted like the original 80s Joe's. Less investment for Hasbro and more profit in this first resurrection of the GI Joe 3 3/4 line... Jason |

Wow, really? Now I will have to check the clearance section just in case they have them there at my local Walmart stores...

Is the hair not fitting Baroness's head right a common problem?
I'm souring on these guys pretty fast. I might cancel my Walmart preorders of all but the vehicles.

I bold faced your statement about the template as I think you've missed my point. Yes, Hasbro created those parts, but to this date, Hasbro has not utilized those parts for these particular character builds i.e. ARAH-style.
What I (and I think others) am saying is "Look, Hasbro, you have already created the perfect parts to create a great build for these figures. Just use the basic recipe that HHFF and other customizers have kit-bashed together." But I'm not saying total kit-bashes either, like HHFF. I just don't see Hasbro using Gung-Ho's lower legs with a Roadblock body. I'm not sure how the molding "trees" work. So, my "template" suggestions are DOTD Flint for Duke, FSS Tiger Force Roadblock for the new Roadblock, and personally, I'd rather see a repaint of Resolute Scarlett than any other existing build. Since no one is discussing Destro, I guess we're all pretty much agreed they'll use the 50th parts, maybe with vac-mold, chrome head? I just hope his legs are more rigid. Jason In most instances, I'd be good with that.

Now I've probably tracked down the SDCC version and it doesn't matter either way. Why does Hasbro seem to struggle so much with female figures? Is that just limited to G.I.Joe?

I'm not a big fan of Shipwreck but the one from that last 2009 5 pack was a great upgrade form the carded 25th version. I wouldn't mind getting that 5 pack upgrade, as is, on the vintage card. I think that well done Shipwreck would sell well.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that saw that. Initially, I was going to swap her in for my 50th, then I saw the pics and decided against that because the paint isn't bad on the one I have.

You may be in luck. They used that Torso for Crankcase.
