I probably missed the joke at some point within this long thread, but I can’t help but to wonder why so many keep calling him “Mustache”, instead of his name, Mark Maher.
It seemed like we used to call the others at Hasbro by their names on HissTank, whether that be Derryl Depriest, John Warden, Mark Weber, etc., but this guy doesn’t even get that courtesy. Did he do something I don’t know about which earned our disrespect? Granted, I’m not entirely convinced either that this G.I. Joe Retro line product designer is really a G.I. Joe fan, because he seems to have a genuine love for Transformers (and has a Decepticon tattoo), but his past connection to G.I. Joe, if any, seems questionable. Maybe more will be revealed concerning that if he stays with the team for future waves of G.I. Joe. For several years, Mark Maher was an artist with Overspray Studios, before working for Hasbro with BonkaZonks and Transformers.

It looks like Recondo meets Tom Selleck.

If Mark Maher’s HissTank nickname of “Mustache” spreads to other toy forums, perhaps his Hasbro co-workers will begin friendly teasing with him about it at the job, and cause him to become known as “Mustache” at the workplace.
He might like the name, actually. That’ll be funny if it gets mentioned during Hasbro Pulsecon three weeks from now.

It started after a HasbroPulse livestream in which he seemed drunk and didn't know jack shit about GI Joe. He spoke to fans like these weren't figures we've seen before. He even acted like "foot holes" for figure stands were a new thing. Imagine a high school teacher who had only heard of GI Joe in passing yet was then asked to give a presentation about "new" product. It was really weird and painful to watch.
