Before you start insulting people, I'd recommend you start here: https://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-j...shed-projects/ to get a feel for exactly who keeps this place going, regardless of whether or not there's some hot new product to discuss. Hint: that dude, along with 20 or 30 others, is partially responsible for there being anyone here at all since 50th was discontinued. I can tell you first hand that Hisstank's art community has been the only reason to check in for at least two years- until Classified dropped a few months ago. Self centered? Re-read your initial post man. And for what it's worth, like I said above, these are pretty cheap on the aftermarket-they average $22 shipped on eBay, or better, if you find a seller with all of them. That mark up is gas and time, surely not worth insulting people over.

6 at a time is overkill. Leave some for the next collector. Or heaven forbid the next generation that hasn’t ever seen G.I. Joe before and could keep this line alive for another 25 years. But as long as some shut in can cut up 6 copies and make a kindergarten macaroni plate piece of “custom” art, who am I to argue.

Nothing wrong with customizers. They are basically making two hobbies out of one (collecting and customizing). The only people that hurt the line by buying are those that do so only to artificially drive demand up and line their pockets with money. Even then, there isn't much you can do. I can't fault someone for trying to get some extra dough. It is what it is.

Just ignore the trolling and it will go away. They only have a voice if you acknowledge them.

Every Walmart near me has nearly empty action figure walls. My ex-wife works at one of them and she said the stock team is always behind on getting toys out because they are short-staffed and the store prioritizes other departments. But yeah, I don't think they get much delivered either. I'm having a hell of a time tracking down the new MOTU figures. I'm glad I got my retro figures pre-ordered.

I like the retro line as custom fodder, but I don't see them as "retro" figures. I feel like they screwed the pooch because they didn't use the right molds to be retro figures. My best example of this is instead of using the renegades Storm Shadow they should have used the ultimate Storm Shadow from the retaliation line, minus is funky jetpack. Snake eyes they should have used one of the paintball mask heads instead of the visor, and used a different harness, but it doesn't bother me that he was overburdened with weapons (especially since he comes with the uzi and the ammo/explosives pack. Of the three that we got, baroness was the best, but even she has her issues. The hair keeps her from holding her head up straight. She's always got her chin tucked into her collar.

That's pretty damned presumptuous of you. You obviously have no idea who or what you're talking about. I wouldn't expect you to though, you did just sign up.

I remember when SJ was just a single digit poster, and even when he quit and came back. Now he is trying to buy, everything!!!!

I have bought multiples of figures when I find them cause I live in Canada and if I see something I want, I get it. Many times, I never see it again. Heck, half my stuff is from people here that are willing to buy it for me and ship to me cause lots of it don't even show up in Canada or are so limited that unless you happen to be there when the case is placed out, you'll never see it. I do agree if you are buying just to sell on Ebay, that sucks. Also, those people who sell on Ebay actually don't make that much. I remember getting Star Wars Black Series figures for people and the price of them in Canada plus shipping, I actually needed to charge like $35 shipped to get all my money back for a figure that would be $20+tax in the US. Just to break even on Ebay, I think I would have had to sell those figures for $40+shipping cause of Ebay and Paypal fees, which is why I don't get why those scalpers even do it when they list the items for just a little over retail.

I suspect sellers like that either get stuff at a discount somehow or are thieves like that stupid sumbitch who bull-rushed that Walmart employee for some Classified figures.
