Collectors pick the weirdest shit to complain about and to praise. Like the encomium for MTF and Boss Fight, yet the seemingly constant nitpicking of Hasbro's efforts, when most of the Joe stuff is just as good and a helluva lot cheaper besides (at retail), and MTF and Boss Fight have their own issues. I've learned my opinion rarely jives with the average asshole on just about everything, and I'm cool with that.

Thank you! Of all the things to bitch, cry, and nitpick about, toys are at the bottom of the barrel. Especially to the extreme that I've seen some here bitch about.

Haha! Yeah, I had to go get bread and oranges and shit this morning so I made a point of doing it at Walmart...just so I could get my daily DC figure disappointment fix.

Also, toy collecting is a hobby and most people get passionate about things they do in their free time that they care about (just look at sports, as an example). And then there is the other line that customers have to stand up to big businesses in hyperbolic terms or they are largely ignored. But I do think negativity is more frequently focused on than the great things about the hobby.

Many people complain and obsess over toys as an escape from politics, religion, real life, etc. Frankly, it's healthier than people sometimes imply.

Hasbro is better than Mattel. MOTUC is the first real line I collected other than POTF (which started when I didn't qualify as an adult collector) and I can say that dealing with Mattel's weirdness is a lot worse than anything I've gone through over Transformers or G.I. Joe (of course, Joe I didn't come back to until 2018, so I missed a lot of the angst I think).

I'm expecting to see a Haslab Terrordrome probably for next year...

That's probably a safe expectation, actually. And if not the 'drome, maybe something else Joe-related. The Spin Master Batcave playset has gotten me interested in playsets again, so I'd maybe actually pony up for a large Joe playset.
