I wonder if the crankcase head is based on a real person (hasbro exec etc).

Anyone care to describe their experiences pre-ordering stuff from Walmart? I was going to pre-order the HISS Tank and two of the retail Cobra Commanders. Do they endlessly delay shipping and fuck things up or are they pretty reliable?

In two of the pictures of Snake Eyes, his Uzi doesn't have a clip. In others it does... so weird.

It's hard to tell, but is the Crankcase head the same as the Collector's club Topside head?

50th Destro goes for $30 or so right now and the production quality on 50th (especially paint) was lacking. It’s never been clear to me if Hasbro has rights to tooling the club used - but I hope so for RB especially. Now Scarlett. There’s no easily translatable well sculpted mold. They could use the Renegades mood and give her pants - and I guess that would work. After seeing quite a few newly sculpted parts on Crankase and HISS driver I think there’s a good chance they do the same for her. Would anyone not love an ultimate Duke on retro card using the Retaliation Firefly torso? Last edited by Dod Ear; 07-17-2020 at 12:48 PM.. |

I know it’s weird to complain about getting too much stuff, but calling something retro and then shoving 20 accessories on a retro style card looks ridiculous. All they needed was the type of stuff they originally came with.
Also, I don’t understand the Snake Eyes thing. Is that an error in production?

No sir - it’s new (admittedly FSS Topside looks better - that is a fantastic sculpt)

Damn everything is sold out - hopefully by collectors and not by the bots. At least this shows their is a market for the product. Any ideas on production numbers? Glad to see attention brought to 4" Joes and looking to the new figure waves. Slightly bummed that this is a re-hashing of the 25th anniversary line instead of retro though (poor choice of marketing on Hasbro's part) - was expecting a little more of a game changer. After looking everything over I can't really justify adding anything except Storm Shadow to my collection.
As I look to get my 4" collection back up to snuff I may just end up buying the original 25th anniv figs on cards - it will be interesting to see what/if any effect the retro line has on after market prices. I am also hopeful that the 6 inch line will strive and give those fans what they want in the form of more traditional retro style figures in their scale.
