The box art is very nice, despite the disappointment of the figures not being a true "retro" collection. The box art is collectible in it's own right though.

They do sound like they're phoning it in, but I'm not totally bummed. Never got an AWE striker, so I'll pick up two -- one to be used as-is, and one to paint black and put Toyhax's Sidewinder set on. I definitely like the head on the new HISS Driver, but I own three black ones and two red ones, so I can't justify that sadly. I've got both the Snake Eyes and the Storm Shadow, and the 50th version of that Baroness, so I'll probably have to pass on those too. I am glad to see a new 4" line though.

They look like old sculpts with new paint jobs and different assortment of accessories. They all come with a ton of gear they didn't have before

Let's not lose sight of the fact that kids can find a Hiss tank in the 80s Hiss tank box under the Xmas tree this year and Joes on classic card art. Plus, the line is clearly not dead.
