At some point that weird countdown on Walmart.com, which I think is counting down to 7 AM ET and not 10 AM, is going to be an issue.

It would be annoying if these popped up at 7 AM and anyone waiting for 10 AM was out of luck.

I would love to see some O ring figures that didn't get enough love in the day. Cover Girl is the only female mold that didn't survive to see the repaint era (OK, NF Scarlett too, but I don't care about that one). Footloose only got a Slaughter's Marauders repaint. Surprised Gung Ho V1 didn't see any Comic Pack love, considering the mold was used in the '90s TRU sets, and Duke had some of the body parts on permanent loan.

Love the Hurricane. The only change I would make to the mold would to strengthen the tabs that hold the wings in flight position.

One of the many reasons I'm glad my company shifted us to WFH. I clock-in around 7 and have my personal laptop right next to my work computer. I should be ready if I even bother.

Because of the 1/2 and 2/2 on some of these pics, it appears they may have come from instagram. I have not seen this art before and its not plastered all over the web so it may be "new" or it may be just fan photoshops of existing art (it all looks like vintage art).

If I recall correctly, the artist of these mentioned that he did them for a pitch to Hasbro to produce licensed material like t-shirts etc. This happened many years back and Hasbro has rejected the pitch.

Since he named the images G.I. Joe Retro, someone has unearthed these recently while searching for the Retro Line.

However, a very similar artwork can be found on the history section of the official G.I. Joe website.

We are close to the date. I will be checking on that on my phone to see if they show new Joe's and if they also open pre orders or not for them...

The Cobra Officer in that art work has a red Cobra Sigil. SMH. Please don’t mess this up Hasbro.
