There's probably a better chance of being trampled by a bear . . . .

Surprised? Man we’re counting on it! But it’s not full vintage without the gear listed on the side or top of the bubble.

The MCC figure builds was one of the few times that I didn't agree with Bobby Vala's work. One of the trooper's legs couldn't straighten the knees. The forearms on the CO and CT were wonky too. I understand what he was going fore, but he should have stuck with the entire POC/30th/50th builds for the CO and CT. He could have made the CT black so you could tell it was different from the carded CT's.
He should have went with the full Ult. CC build with the red stripe down the leg and the MM emblem. I would have gotten more of them for sure.

Walmart has money. They wanna drive traffic into the stores and website that’s how they do it, with Exclusives. Hasbro doesn’t care what we want. As long as they get their check from Walmart who are the ones that want the Exclusives. Quote:
My problem with exclusives is giving them to Walmart rather than someone else who will handle them a lot better and get them to people's hands in undamaged. If Hasbro must do exclusives, do it on Hasbro Pulse as you said, or even Big Bad Toy Store or another company with a better reputation.

I really liked Slaughter's Marauders but the colors weren't the same pattern as ARAH. The later convention versions looked more accurate. BBTS did do a few shared exclusives for the 50th anniversary. I think most of them were 2 packs of figures. I picked up this set... G.I. Joe 50th Anniversary Silent Strike Vehicle Pack BBTS Exclusive |

Random, bored, late night searches of the web led me to stumble across this artwork listed under tag line G.I.Joe Retro. Has anyone see these before? I have been away from the online fandom for a while. Curious because the Hiss tank and AWE striker are shown on the tear-a-ways by Duke and the Crimson Guard and those are supposed to be a part of the Retro line. Disregard if old news or just some random fan art.

GI Joe Retro Line & Walmart - Needless Essentials Online With bigger resolutions. Because of the 1/2 and 2/2 on some of these pics, it appears they may have come from instagram. I have not seen this art before and its not plastered all over the web so it may be "new" or it may be just fan photoshops of existing art (it all looks like vintage art). |

A vehicle that I lament the loss of was the Cobra Hurricane. A mold confirmed destroyed, that allegedly was on the Collectors Club list to make if the Operation M.O.T.H. sets had sold well enough. I love the lines, the colors (blue and gray), it seated 2, AND had a firing missile launcher. I actually prefer it to the Rattler for dogfights. Would love to see it return. Pipe dream.
I would love to see some O ring figures that didn't get enough love in the day. Cover Girl is the only female mold that didn't survive to see the repaint era (OK, NF Scarlett too, but I don't care about that one). Footloose only got a Slaughter's Marauders repaint. Surprised Gung Ho V1 didn't see any Comic Pack love, considering the mold was used in the '90s TRU sets, and Duke had some of the body parts on permanent loan. |
