Agree with this. Other than in the months leading up to the holidays (i.e. roughly October - December), I rarely see many/any people in toy aisles anymore. And, even during the holiday shopping months I don't see that many people there, either. Of course, I myself am rarely there because I'm not "hunting" for them nearly as much as I used to be, either.

Honestly, brick & mortar stores aren't really getting in much new products these days, or if they do it sells relatively quickly - for the most part. I agree that pretty much everyone is getting their toys/collectibles online, and have been for quite some time. I even remember the last several years before TRU closed in 2018 (in the U.S., that is) - the few times I went there I didn't see many people shopping for toys. The majority of shoppers @ that store were parents in the Kids R Us section, etc. And, that was a supposedly "dedicated" toy store.
