That would be an enormous bummer. I think one of the things that made ARAH so popular is that they blew SW 5 POA out of the water with their level of articulation.

They're probably not hitting until the latter half of the year (along with the movie product...and not accounting for any virus-related delays). Hasbro didn't show off much that was coming in the latter half of the year (nor do they usually at Toy Fair).

If SDCC happens and everything isn't pushed back (which sadly seems more likely than not at this point) we'll find out more there.

I mean seriously...is anybody who wants these NOT going to buy them because Hasbro didn't show them off early enough for their tastes?

I really hope the pricing isn't similar to what's being charged for G1 Transformers at Walmart.

I agree. Not having the old molds means nothing. Look at how many vintage toys we got in 2008. We’ve gotten old Star Wars and Transformers with intentional alterations but not alterations because they couldn’t replicate everything. After all the vintage toys that have been reissued these past 12 years I’m surprised to hear people still garble this trope.

I’m very excited for these but I’m annoyed that they are Walmart only. If these turn out to be what we hope, I’d love to see all of the 82-86 line up.

Keep in mind all, the first wave of retro SW figures were not Walmart exclusives. They were short term Target exclusives from June to August, then all retailers were allowed to carry them. It is only the second round of SW retros that are now Walmart exclusives. We cannot count on the first wave’s availability for these new Walmart releases.

The retro marvel figures are already out and are six inches at the same price point. Not sure why these would be different.

What are you saying here? Marvel retro are 19.99, just like regular 6 inch. Star Wars Retro are 3.75” repros of old vintage figures priced at 9.99. The Joes are listed with a price of 12.93. There’s currently no verifiable commonality between the three lines.
