While that is still poorly packed it exceeds Walmart's standard by a mile.

Exclusive equals monopoly. The stronger the monopoly the less need for customer service. Advertise that product is for collectors. Add in higher prices. The discover it is a lesser quality product. Poorly pack the carded figures so they arrived damaged negating the collectable nature. If the goal as a customer was just get the figure, free is great, but if you wanted it to remain on card.... Only improvement over previous exclusives is Walmart shipped the early preorders and didn't just cancel them. What is telling is how few, if any, who received the carded figures early in the Hasbro gift box didn't comment how flimsy the new cards were.

Here's something I found online that discusses where returns often go, it even has some paragraphs on toys, whenever I see people returning Joes I know they're 25% likely to end up in landfills

I seriously hope someone from Hasbro reads this thread. The folks involved with shipping these should be informed that these are collector's items and should be packaged accordingly. It should be above Walmart or any other retailer when it comes to standards.
This is just unacceptable. If my next Gung Ho arrives fucked up due to incompetance I'm demanding a refund for my Premium membership. |

This is nuts. I have had a couple of items from Pulse in the past (both SW) come in just avg condition, but as an opener it didn't bother me. But this is pretty bad and no better than Amazon or Walmart!!
Unacceptable for Hasbro's own collector site to be shipping stuff out like that. No excuse.
