Just opened the Pulse order.

I'll just say luckily they survived shipping fine. They were kind of thrown in the box awkwardly with a couple plastic bubbles but no creases to the cards. Just a couple minor indentations that likely happened at the factory.

I don't get this at all. Mine from Pulse came the exact same way. And it was four figures in my order, so they could have stacked them back to back and the four figures would have sat nicely. But they were thrown in the box awkwardly, just as you said, all facing the same way with all four bubbles stacked on top of each other with one sorry pillow strip over the top of them. And the box was about three times too big. Very unimpressed that this was how Pulse sent out their orders.

They all look in great shape... I still unopened the boxes Walmart sent to me... I need to take some time to do so!

Interesting Walmart return story today...

Took my five Walmart retro's back to the store in person to return them at lunch, against my better judgement. Waited in a 15 minute line, got to the counter, she was able to return my one Destro but then the "online system went down" and she could not process any more online order returns.

Left furious, loudly mumbling under my breath "good ole fucking Walmart" like an angry old man. Got back to work and started a chat on the website. The agent processed a mail back return for my Lady Jaye and Gung Ho which were on the same order. I have to box them and drop them at Fedex. Fine.

Then she got to my old "Rocket" and "Mars" order, which was Lady Jaye and Baroness which a bunch of us ordered last year when they were only placeholders on the website. As she's working, my phone dings and I see two emails from Walmart stating that the refunds for both items had been processed. I told the agent in the chat that it appeared that she had fully refunded me for both items just now and there was no mail-back information given. I asked her if I'm just supposed to keep these two items and to my surprise she said yes, we just refunded you for both of them and you do not have to send them back!

So a bit of frustration at lunch ended up leading to a free Lady Jaye and Baroness which I will promptly open when I get home, even though I'm not too jazzed with either figure.

Still hate Walmart though.

It says something about WM that this seems to be the trend in this thread:

1) order exclusive figures
2) receive figures incredibly damaged
3) try to return figures
4) get refund, keep figures
5) still hate Wal-Mart

What an astonishing business model, guess they found that volume defeats customer contempt for the business.

I'm hearing a few people say they simply got refunded without sending anything back. They wanted mine so I stuffed them back in the plastic bag and dropped them off at the post office. Haven't gotten refunded for anything yet. In fact the tracking hasn't moved at all.

I wanted to be sure Walmart gets them back in the same shitty condition in the same shitty envelope. Look at all the 1 star reviews for these on their website. Everyone's bitching about the shipping.

When I looked them up online I saw the 1-star reviews...I was like, uhhhh then I saw it was the shipping, not the figures. I don't usually like when product ratings get influenced by shipping incidents but in this case, it's something you can't ignore.

My Arashikage code of honor prevents me from attempting to return hoping for refunds + keeping the figures. If they were damaged, that's a diff story.

I'm the same, I don't like returning things because of how much goes to waste piles because it's too inconvenient to restock. I'm not into the thought of GIJoes going to landfills unless they're broken on delivery
