Yeah that wouldn’t be a bad start. Zap, Recondo, etc. I’d be ok with that for the first year so they can build up some capitol but I’d expect new figures within 12 months.

The chances of them launching a new line of Walmart-exclusive GI Joes with Recondo, Falcon, and Zap are . . . pretty low.

Whatever these are, you can bet the first batch will include people like Duke, Cobra Commander, Destro, etc.

Some people quit. Obviously they aren't here to mention it. Those people were temporary collectors, anyway. The ones who remember the fun of their youth then spend hundreds of dollars on toys and realize that that youth cannot be recaptured in any real way, sell everything (probably at a loss) and move on to some other mid-life crisis distraction.

Then there's a new wave of them brought about by whatever. This wave will realize that vintage ARAH is impossible to complete, the old toys are aging terribly and some of the actual new product doesn't look like the characters they remember. They probably won't last too long. Then it will be left to the die-hard nerds.

I'm still here as a Joe collector buying figures, and I'm not the kind pretending buying Joe's at the same price of the 80s and 90s... I for sure dislike the expensive prices of the club. Hasbro coming back to retail with Joe's is great news and, I been open and grateful for that happening.
Retro figures coming at $10 is not a bad price, and I will be hunting them as soon as we get the green light on them.

Agree with all of this. I never got into the Club figures, because I felt/feel they were way overpriced for what you were getting.

That being said, toy retail prices going up a moderate amount over the years is completely understandable. Anyone who's been a toy collector in the past 20 years know that prices for these go up, just like almost anything else. It's called inflation. If so-called collectors/fans don't like to pay these higher prices for the figures, great! That means there are more to go around for those of us who do want them.
