What are some heads that will work on the Grunt torso? If I want to make greenshirts, will any standard heads work or will they look odd?
Also, any idea of what to do for the gummy t-bar? Could we put a layer of glue or nail polish on it to make it less rubbery feeling ? |

Yes. The little barbed prongs on each rounded end of the T-bar is digging into the soft plastic at the top of each leg, such that when the legs are moved, the plastic T-bar flexes/twists.
My solution was to remove the legs, and file off every barbed protrusion on the rounded ends of the T-bar, wipe clean, and then reassemble. The soft plastic material of the legs lends enough friction as is to maintain the legs in any desired pose, and now the T-bar never flexes/twists, so no risk of breaking. Cutex nail polish remover, but mostly water, because I wet a piece of paper towel, squeezed out the excess water, applied a minimal amount of nail polish remover to the moist towel piece, re-wet it with a sprinkle of water, and then rubbed the paint off of the mouth with rapid scrubbing for a few seconds. Then I rinsed the figure's head under running water, inspected for any missed spots of paint, and repeated a second time as necessary. The nail polish remover was so diluted using this method, that no damage was done to the toy.

What in the holy hell is it with this wave (Grunt & CO) West of Texas?
Since these popped up about a month ago I was checking eBay on a daily bases(twice a day) to see when to track these down. There was ONE in the state off Oregon, one popped up in San Diego, Fresno, and Ventura. But every day there’s new listings from Flo-Rida, New York, Texas, Carolinas, Pennsylvania.

^ Totally. I've seen of one confirmed sighting here in Phoenix AZ. Nothing like what's being reported Texas and east.
It has been the same phenomena with previous waves as well. I only have almost all the ones I want because of online orders. |

Complete opposite for me. My friend ordered the first three waves,, but I would always find them in stores a month or so before ship dates. Now the one time we didn’t preorder them the entire West Coast gets nothing. So far.

I think inventory for your local Walmarts is sitting off shore in the stranded ships.
