G.I. Joe: Classified – Snake Eyes (Pulse Exclusive) | GeneralsJoes
I've always liked Justin's reviews, as he tends to get into the nitty gritty about articulation and accessories, plus I've always preferred written reviews with pictures rather than rambling videos where the reviewer hasn't really pre-thought what they're going to say. He does like the 6" scale, but even if you don't its worth checking out all the pics. There's a lot more color than was apparent in the earlier pictures and he shows the figure with the bandolier off (which shows that the ab cut isn't nearly as egregious as some were making it out to be. |

Yikes, his trigger finger pose (on both hands!) looks terrible when not holding guns. Which would be fine with extra hands, except the extra hands are for a Karate chop and holding a throwing star. He doesn’t come with a fist or open hand hands. That is soooo lame. The trigger finger even looks weird when he’s holding a sword. I guess he’s going to have to be posed holding guns on my shelf.

I love that site - his enthusiasm for GI Joe always comes through in his reviews. As usual his review of the Snake Eyes figure does not disappoint.
I still go back and read the archived reviews from time to time. It's a great site and also a trip to read about the 2000 ARAH line/Spy Troops/VvV stuff - it brings me back to being right out of high school and through college. |

To this day I’ve yet to watch any video reviews. I too prefer a well thought out review with tons of pics. The time it takes to do a well written review and take tons of pictures shows more passion for what they’re doing. This Snake Eyes is just awesome and after reading his review, reminded me that I have to wait until I get mines.

They've only relatively recently (last couple years) started semi-regularly including alternate hands for Marvel Legends (and even then it's only some figures, not nearly all of them). To the best of my knowledge they rarely, if ever, include alt-hands for Star Wars Black Series figures. Basically: I wouldn't go into this expecting Japanese import levels of alt parts. Certainly not for $19.99 apiece. Anyway, great to see GeneralsJoes firing up again. |
