Thought I'd put up a new thread for this topic to break it into a separate conversation.
Check out the Kickstarter here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...tion%20figures This line has lots of potential for usage outside the actual line itself! Things I would love to see added: * Green Body for the Space Force, with the green armored helmet (HALO wannabe) * Soviet Union Trooper head in green with no change to the goggles in red with gold trim (Hydra Soldier head) * Green body plus green Soviet Trooper Head (Hydra Soldier) * Soviet Union Trooper to include armored helmet (either same as Space Force Trooper armored head but in red with a black visor, or a new style altogether that looks more "Russian") * Secret Service Agent in a red suit (Putin's red guard or Putin in a Red Suit because why not, but I want one to make Rojo from the Freedom Squadron game...using the Blue suit would allow me to make Azur, aka twins like Tomax and Xamot in the game) * A Harry S. Truman or Franklin Roosevelt head would be cool to mix with MTF WWII figures, more so for me than some of the older Presidents * A Churchill head for MTF WWII British soldiers * Bill Clinton head, that way we have all Presidents from Reagan to Trump * Werner Von Braun. Considering WWII Germany (not to get political or glorify that country in that time period) were the ground breaking with the V2 Rocket and he went to NASA after the war (believe eventually became U.S. citizen), he would be an interesting addition. * Captain Eagle head to have a five o'clock shadow on it (like Nick Fury of The Howling Commandos and original Shield comics - so could be used with a WWII theme or an original SHIELD theme) Other uses, this is what I can do right now with offerings * Use the Soviet Union Trooper without harness and space helmet as an Oktober Guard tank driver, or something. Like the Hammer & Sickle on the arm * Blue Suited Secret Service Agent could be my Azur I want from Freedom Squadron game * Josef Stalin for my Marauder WWII Russians commander in chief * Corporal Danko for use in my Oktober Guard * Nixon for Commander In Chief for the MTF Vietnam Kickstarter (Whenever it happens) * Reagan for Commander In Chief for my Joes 80's Universe * General Figures Green or Black for multiple toy lines as Generals * Figures to mix in with or against Hell Screamerz Universe * VP Pence head, maybe paint white to gold and use him as a Doc Savage head (looks kinda close to some of my old books) * Gregori Rasputin as John Wick * Corporal Danko looks a lot like Arnold Schwartzeneger * Star Brigade with head swaps for Joes Maybe I'll think of more, but what ideas do you see on uses for the Space Force, or parts from Space Force? The figs are cool but I don't want a Trump or Obama action figure.

It's really easy to swap heads on most figures.

There isn't really much variety to get me to pull the trigger. It's really only single figure in three varieties, and all the extra heads are of zero interest to me. I may pledge a few bucks just to support 1:18 lines.
A female figure would have been nice so I could finally make a Wilma Deering figure... |

Some novelty in these but that is about it, though space figures are always welcome.
Wilma Deering would be great, in fact a whole Buck Rogers line and starfighters, all done in modern MTF/Boss Fight style. |

Am I seeing it right that these have no torso articulation?

There is no Torso articulation, just waist. That really is no different than vintage up to the modern line of Joes or MTF.
Cons for me. Somewhat of a high price point, definitely not much body variety, and at the upper levels of the stretch goals all it gets you is the right to pay more to buy add-ons. No price discounting or all in to make larger backing a “better” deal, so you can just do a low tier for a few figures and add on as you might want to. kinda consider that last one a plus and negative. |
