Speculation given price point and general Hasbro trends is they’ll probably be “modestly articulated” 6” figures like the basic Power Rangers or Avengers Gamerverse figures.

9.99 eh?
Too low for a standard 6” figure for sure, lower than 4” usually is too. I have no idea what an 80s style o-ring 3.75 figure would cost today if made in quantity, but the price sounds in between the highly articulated small scale TVC figures and what they used to charge for the 5/7 POA ones. Sorry to ask a scary question, but: how much do those 5” Galaxy of Adventures kids figures cost? Could the low cost imply reduced articulation or 5” style? Frankly, a LOT of the cost we pay on Retro and Classified is a “collector premium” Hasbro has put on those lines. I’ve seen a LOT of “basic” kids stuff hold its own against collector lines at a lower price. Quote:
Ball jointed heads Ball shoulders and elbows Ball hips (sometimes a t-crotch on lower tier characters) Bend and swivel knees Plus accessories. No, they won’t be AS articulated or have AS much paint detail or have AS many accessories...but they are likely to fall into that “good enough” level that too many collectors seem to forget exists. I would argue that for $10, a LOT of those figures offer a better value than their Legends/Lightning Collection counterparts.

In all honesty..... Those 2 code names seem like they can be refering to the 2 figures scheduled for release on Jan 1st...
1. Firefly 2. Cobra Viper Unless their code names where released earlier and I missed it... |

I think the figures will remain the same. 4" figures will be the standard modern era figures, now used as retros with same articulation and Classified the same as we been getting them so far...

Outside of the basic assortment, many of the higher price point items match the list that we've known about since June.

As it was mentioned the Retro is a premium so the standard releases of Joe Figures are going to be $9.99. In this case movie figures... Not bad in price if you ask collectors about it. Classified figures will remind at same price so changes on that field.

I feel like the two Classified codenames might be giveaways...who piloted the Diamondback.....Bigrig.....sounds an awful lot like vehicle drivers...very popular ones.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say, there's no way these are vehicle drivers. At least not obscure vehicle drivers. I could buy the idea of Cover Girl or Wild Weasel, but definitely not the ones you mentioned. More than likely they are the names for Classified BBQ & Major Bludd.

Sadly, there seems to be little or no rhyme/reason to the secret shipping names. Thus trying to "crack the code" is rather pointless and pretty much just a colossal waste of time, actually. However, having said that ...
A "big rig" is (apparently) a large truck of some sort. The sorta truck that would presumably hog the road. Also, both "big" and "rig" rhyme with "pig". The "Diamondback" pseudonym is a bit less obvious*. Though Buzzer does use a diamond-toothed chainsaw (the only weapon to be specifically named on any bio page). * Feels way too soon to be Wild Weasel. (And he should be "Otter", imo.)
