June release, that is 4 months before the movie.
If they go the Star Ware route there will be 14ish figures this first year. The movie figures wave(s) would probably be 4th quarter to coincide with the movie release and Christmas retail sets.

I may get a few to pose with my Valaverse figs, but that's it. I'm a 1/18 scale collector. I'll just work on customs I guess.

The only way I'd get them all is if they pair a 1/18 scale ME clone of the 1/12 scale figure in a 2 pack.

There's a difference between Sunbow and V1 Duke. I'd rather they did both since it's mostly just paint, that way everyone can be happy.

GI Joe is always 1:18 simply because of army-building and vehicles. Six-inch is not conducive to vehicles and playsets (look at what Di$ney Star Wars went through in Black Series) I am glad you 6" guys are getting something but I get the feeling it will be at the expense of a 1:18 line.

They’d probably do one at first, and then a later wave (maybe with vintage card backs like Marvel And Star Wars often do for their 6” repacks) will have the other.

As long as they do it, I'l buy it. I don't even care if the Sunbow version is a chase figure.
