the quality of today's animation in general really isn't a matter of how it's produced, but who the animation is aimed at, and how little effort can be put forth for maximum profit. today's kids "outgrow" toys and cartoons much earlier than us 30-40 somethings did.
ask yourself, if as a kid, while you were playing with your Corps! figures in the front yard, your parents had passed you the equivalent of a star trek tricorder (had to look that up), and then told you to go immerse yourself in a virtual world inside for awhile until dinner was ready, wouldn't those lumps of plastic and colorful non interactive television pictures would get old quickly? we grew up in a different time.

what I'm saying is that most kids outgrow them before they really know any better.

Oh, most definitely. You see, we don't hear the name Entertainment One or eOne because it's the name of the mother company.
Nevertheless, eOne caters to the Movie Business, TV Business, Music Industry, Tech etc. They have a partnership with Universal Pictures. They are the mother company of Death Row Records. You know Tupac, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg? Yeah, that's their IPs. They do Peppa Pig, Walking Dead etc. Two big names but there are countless others. eOne is a massive entertainment acquisition for Hasbro. Pretty much like Disney acquiring Marvel or something. |
