if we're talking about the "screaming eagles" sgt. savage, i only ever had one figure, and dug that it was essentially a return to a more true military aesthetic, but i really felt that as a companion line to RAH, a real opportunity was missed in terms of scale. had they have been 3 3/4, i'd have really liked them.
if were talking about "gi joe extreme" sgt savage, then just a big hearty nope here.

Many people who don’t like modern figures are confusing modern with 25th. 25th figures haven’t aged really well, but the actual modern figures (RoC and onward) are really good.
Oh, I do like o rings by the way, I just like modern figures too Also with this hisstank font there isn’t much difference between modern and modem had to edit a bit: as far as not aging well goes for the 25th, I truly believe the only ones that WILL age well are the originals, because of what they are. with rapid advances in technology being what it is, even the 50th sculpts will look dated next to whatever figures are released 10 years from now ( if, in fact, action figures are still a thing in 10 years!)

don't get me wrong, I like ANY gijoe figure (except, as noted above, extreme), even the 12" at least somewhat, and the modern era are definitely higher on that list than some, but I'm not head over heels for any of the other lines like I am the RAH era. in short, 25th-50th are pretty amazing, they just don't invoke enough nostalgia for me to justify having "more things".

Yes and no. Sure they both don’t have o rings, but neither do Sigma Six figures. Just compare a 25th Cobra Trooper to a Pursuit of Cobra Cobra Trooper. They’re as different as o rings vs new sculpts. Now of course I use 25th figures with PoC figures, just like how many new sculpts fit in with o rings.

And it almost seems like this thread was hijacked and turned into the Snake Eyes toy line thread. LOL!
