I didn't see this posted yet, so I thought I'd pass it on:
https://www.newsarama.com/46038-rob-...nake-eyes.html Press Release Wasting no time following up his breakout hit Major X for Marvel, Major X and Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld is bringing his blockbuster brand to the iconic G.I. JOE franchise at IDW! SNAKE EYES: DEADGAME, coming in early 2020, will mark Liefeld’s first G.I. JOE story. Details of the storyline remain under wraps for now but the legendary creator promises the most action-packed epic of his career. Credit: IDW Publishing “Two words: 'BUCKET LIST,'” says Liefeld, “One more word: ‘ICON.' Snake Eyes is Wolverine, Deadpool, and Spider Man rolled into one amazing character for an entire generation of fans that thrilled to his adventures in comics and cartoons and hung on his every toy release! My parents drove me all over the county to get me G.I. JOE action figures as a kid. These were my first and most favorite toys. Working with Hasbro and all my friends at IDW has been a blast so far. I can’t wait to get this work out into the public! If you enjoyed my recent Marvel work,” Liefeld continues,” this will match or exceed it!" “The high-octane, adrenaline-fueled action and adventure Rob brings to every comic he creates is a perfect fit for Snake Eyes, and we’re all as excited as you are to see him really cut loose on the pages of this very special G.I. JOE series!” Said Chris Ryall, IDW’s President & Publisher/Chief Creative Officer. Any news is good news when it comes to G.I. Joe, so I'm looking forward to this. |

Frankly this is awesome. He needs to stop drawing the lines on the visor as horizontal though, they should match the angle of the visor.

In all seriousness though this will be some fun suckiness! I have always liked Liefelds stuff mainly because it’s so bad it is good. Don’t know another way to describe it. Kinda like back in the day the New Kids on the Block sucked but they sure sold a lot of records and everyone knew the words to their songs.

The good news is that he is drawing both feet AND hands in the promo images.
And hey, he is a (former) A-lister who is still relevant. If this works out, better preemptively load up on the V54 and Ret W2/3 SE figs! |

Here’s the details:
-The story will be about Dack, Sneak Eyes, Rouge and the rest of the team who are the children or cousins of the original Joes and who just happen to look like them and have similar skills. -Expect a 250% increase in swords/pouches and a corresponding decrease in feet. -The Joe team will now be able to shoot around corners due to the curved barrels of some of their guns. -All other guns will now fire square bullets. -MOAR LITTLE LINES! Seriously... this guy has sucked since the 90s and I’m not sure how he still has a job. It will be fun to go panel by panel to see which other artists he has attempted to copy though (sometimes he copies himself!)

Get ready for more pouches, no feet, and disproportionate weapons!

It's.....as if a million voices of ghosts from 1991 screamed out in rejoice....followed by silence as we all realized it's 2019.

Lol, the only thing worse than his "art" is his writing, so good luck with this.
