Well, at least I feel a little better about Series 3 because I finally have all the joints moving fairly freely...except the knee joints. Those bitches are LOCKED but good.

Honestly I could care less what is going on with Hasbro internally, my life isnt based on what my collection needs! I dont wait with bated breath on what Hasbro is releasing next! If they release a figure that I might be interested in I purchase it then go get a sandwich, it ends there! With the layoffs you are going to see more & more disgruntled employees just like Vala acting like some dire revolution is needed! People will rally against Hasbro with pitchforks while at the same time laughably buying wave after wave of characters they have never even cared about!

I'm going to try not to get political (at least too much). It's funny how the 3PoA: Ryan, Bobby and Tony, and I'll even throw French in here, have a habit of belittling a certain political ideology of a certain party, yet hypocritically engage in all the same behaviors from active censorship, to shouting down/belittling oppositional views and even making it a point to only surround themselves with those who share their toxic beliefs while going out of their way to attack other companies, their supporters and even those who would dare say a kind word about said companies or a perceived negative remark against Bobby and co. In a sense, they're effectively becoming the AntiFa of the toy industry in all their hypocritical glory.

The thing with Hasbro it seems that these massive layoffs are a part of the business model. Like Bobby said Mattel isn't doing this. Also, how is Hasbro supposed to retain good and talented employees if the fear of a layoff is looming? People need stability in their lives, (especially where their income is concerned,) and I wouldn't be surprised if people left before the axe fell.
Lucky Corey he can hit the ground running because he has proof of concept of his work and the figures he did are the tangible part of his resume, hell I want to contact him to do some head sculpts for me. ? There is no Christmas cheer on toy and game sales ahead of the holiday, according to Jefferies. A team of analysts led by Andrew Uerkwitz advised clients that ?sentiment remains terrible as investors brace for the potential for more headline revisions? in December. He added that while there are pockets of strength in Lego, Hasbro?s (NASDAQ:HAS) Magic: The Gathering, and Mattel?s (NASDAQ:MAT) Barbie dolls, the overall channel checks suggest sharp deceleration. The negativity on sales comes even as promotions abound with retailers attempting to clear inventory.? https://seekingalpha.com/news/391654...ason-jefferies Mattel Cuts Forecast as Tough Holidays Loom; Shares Fall https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...uverify%20wall ? Target?s earnings woes spilled over to shares of toy makers Hasbro and Mattel after the retailer said it saw a sharp slowdown in toy sales in October.? https://www.marketwatch.com/amp/stor...ow-11668631430 ? The pandemic was a real boon to the toy industry, what with every kid in the country cooped up at home. Over the first two years of COVID, toy sales in the U.S. grew by around 33%, according to figures from analysts at the NPD Group. But last year was a bit of a comedown, with sales declining by 0.2%? https://www.marketplace.org/2023/01/...-cooldown/amp/ There is no conspiracy or corporate mismanagement involved, people just didn?t buy as many toys as they did over the past couple of years. People forget that these are toy companies, not action figure companies. |

In my professional experience most companeis use Layoffs to short term boost profits and also remove low performing employees. 6 months to a year down the road a lot of times they are rehiring that same position again.
Don't want to be a lay off? Perform at a level that makes the company keep you.

This just brings to mind the multiple times Bobby has shared stories about going behind his bosses back to get something made or a project he wanted to go through. Each time he presents himself as this super hero championing what the fans want. When in reality he?s a piece of shit that throws people under the bus to get what he wants. I?m sure his personality did him no favors when it came time for those lay offs.

Some of the things Lenny is chiefly responsible for are some of the goofier aspects of the line. CI Firefly being the main example. Lenny took a silent badass saboteur and turned him into a parody. He's also fond of using the word "ridiculousness" as a term of endearment. He's also given Copperhead a "mouth".
