I really don't see how there's going to be much of a difference between the official version and yours, unless there's new tooling involved. Unlike Jinx and other named characters there's no reason to tool up new parts for a Steel Brigade figure. Off topic, I know that you probably won't do it because you creative cats are your own worst critics, but can you post a figure of your first custom or first Classified custom.
There's hate purchases being made all around my dude. LOL.

Would also be a good compliment to the Trouble Bubble, also prominent there.
We're getting Falcon, Jinx, and Chuckles, right? |

The OG Steel Brigade looks awful at the 6 inch scale and that?s why Hasbro needs to tool new parts and why Sluces custom doesn?t KO the Valaverse one (not that a one off custom could ever KO a mass produced toy for most consumers). The best version of the steel brigade for them to adapt is the one from the end of Modern Era as seen in the 30th and 50th lines. Replace the weird green shirt with a tachtical vest and so forth

I did a spit take when Bobby said that a lot of people don't like him because he shits on other companies but that anyone could say whatever they wanted about him and he wouldn't care. Apparently he forgot that time he had his lawyers send a cease and desist letter over a t-shirt parody of Valaverse or that time he and Desert Drunk tried to force a confrontation at Joe Fest over yet another t-shirt.
https://youtu.be/Hm9G2apPoyY?t=6782 He goes on to show how thick skinned he is by taking personal shots at anyone he perceives as having aggrieved him over the years... Lenny, Emily, Kevin at Toying Around, other YouTubers. All of these people could give two shits about Bobby Vala and live rent free inside his head. The guy is as thin skinned as it gets. He's a small, petty, petulant narcissistic little man hurling shit from behind the walls of the potemkin village he calls Valaverse. Last edited by RAHChuckles; 01-30-2023 at 07:19 PM.. |

What he should be doing is like McFarlane - being an independent operator with a small line with comics, etc. and making a brand and eventually getting with the big boys.
Instead, well. we get this. |

The real problem with that is that Bobby is not Todd McFarlane. Although, they're both huge assholes, I guess.
McFarlane had fame and resources before he launched his toy company. It was never as small as Valaverse is. Expecting Bobby to replicate Todd's success is like expecting to get to the moon by planting beanstalks. To get to that level, you need major, major investment, and you're never going to get that or any decent licensing with his nonstop internet belligerence. Also, the action figure industry is pretty much doomed; comic shops are going tits up; supply chain uncertainty with China. It's a veeeeeeery different environment than when ol' Uncle Todd got fed up with Mattel butchering his characters and started his own company on a whim. I don't chime in here very often, if at all,
about Mr. Vala. And I don't always necessarily disagree with everything he says or the other dudes in his circle of friends. Sometimes good points are made. But then they immediately get canceled out when they say something really daft or hypocritical, attack someone personally or talk smack or pull the whole ganging up on others routine. But to my point, he is digging himself into such a deep grave, if AF ever goes belly up and he has to work for another company again. No sane or stable toy company that is hiring would ever hire him after all the shenanigans he has pulled recently. Even more so after this most recent drunken rant he had. Guy is just venomous, disgruntled, unhinged and much too arrogant for his own good at times. And seems like more often than not recently. I think he has burned so many bridges now, it's not even funny. NAM's GIF really said it perfectly. You never burn your bridges in your career field because you never know who you may have to work with or rely on years in the future. He needs a giant serving of humble pie. Some of what he said last night was what I would call slanderous or defamatory, which is bordering on getting into legal troubles if he keeps it up or crosses the wrong person or company.
