GI Joe carton season 1.1 will be on sale for $16.99 at Target starting Tuesday according to today's newspaper ad.

That's awesome. The cartoon, even though I watched the hell out of it as a kid is hit or miss for me now. That said, nostalgia and financial indiscretion usually get the better of me in a case like this.:lol

This is killing me. I'm not exactly sure what I should do. I really wanted to get the boxset but It looks as if it might be cheaper to purchase these separately.
As of right now there hasn't been any news about the boxset being distributed at retailers. All I have heard so far is that the boxset was being sold directly through Shout Factory and that it might be available at SDCC as well. I believe that Shout Factory has the boxset listed at $145 shipped. That comes out to $35 per set. If all of the sets will be released at Target for $16.99 then it would only cost $68 plus tax for the entire series. That's if they plan on releasing 4 sets, 3 of them containing 4 discs and 1 containing 5 discs, unless that 17th disc is exclusive to the boxset only. If anyone has any information on this please let me know. I would really like to be able to purchase the entire boxset at a retail store like Best Buy or Target.
