You’re not the bad guy. You had to do what you had to do. Like you said “it was getting out of control” and you had to swing the hammer...

I'm sorry every one. But hasbro has in soo many ways killed off g.i. joe. Why would they do a 3rd movie? There has not been a toy line or cartoon in Years.

I'm glad they are going forward with this. There is some life to GI Joe at Hasbro. It feels like a faint pulse though, as I just heard on GIJoeComics08 podcast that Darryl DuPriest has been let go. I hope Bobby Vala is still there. He would be the last remaining Joe fan at Hasbro.

Back on point—I like that Hasbro has control, but ONLY if Hasbro puts Joe guys on the project (DePriest, Valla, etc.) who understand the mythos. Another shirt/tie executive without a clue will not be helpful.

There was a definite time where power was abused on this site. Buuut, I’ve only seen fairness and macro-managing (the appropriate amount) out of you.

On one hand, extremely happy that gi joe is returning to big screen. From comic and toy tie in’s to the big screen itself, this is great news. On other hand, i felt SE got quite a bit of screen time already in the other 2 films. Kind ot hoped for a GI JOE movie. Not a individual character movie.

I think the best way to do Gi joe is character by character origin movies and what better character to start with than snake eyes. I just hope it leads to ARAH films in the end

Give me Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow, Scarlett, Firefly, Zartan, Stalker and the Commander. If you need more, fine; include Baroness or similar cameos. Jinx. Sei Tin. Etc.
But focus and make this good. Snake-Eyes is one of the most potentially deep and amazing characters if done right. |
