I’d love to see a second book in the main continuity written by someone else with characters Larry isn’t using. Maybe fighting Red Shadows, Iron Army, Coil, or even Cobras Larry is not using.

I'd be happy with that. Let Larry do the 'Larry' stories... and have someone else be allowed to play in the same sandbox alongside him.

I would agree but this book barely sells 7k a month. I doubt two books could be sustained. I would like to see the Red Shadows as like a foil to Cobra and Joe. Just more Military adventures. No more Ninjas. I don't remember the Iron Army, was that part of the Image reboot?

7k sales for both books is probably enough to keep the titles ongoing (cover fixed and variable costs) and much better than the Sitterson era sales of 2k. Of course they pump out the trades as fast as they can and that is where their profit is really generated. But IDE seems to have been operating at a loss for quite a while, so who knows?
If these titles are indeed in the black they should quadruple down and make The Hamaverse weekly. Everyone wins.

Looks like the book just got a resounding thumbs up from the controversial Diversity & Comics. His review will get slot of exposure. I wouldn’t be surprised if issue 2 sales surpass issue 1.

That dude has sold out. He keeps giving every trash book glowing reviews nowadays. He's so neutered and safe he should rename himself Disney & Comics.
