I'm part of the Kickstarter for the incoming MTF K-9, Exo Suit and Contract Ops figures and got an email regarding their next project - World War 2
I know I am totally excited for this next evolution of the popular MTF line. The modern military figures have been great for supplementing our existing modern era Joes, as well as making some slick customs or modern interpretations of classic characters. I can't wait to see what they do with the World War 2 era of guns, accessories and figures. The level of quality with Marauder is phenomenal, so we will be in for a treat. There are a ton of 1/18th tanks and planes from other brands to buy with this line to recreate historic battles. Who on the 'Tank is excited about this new line from Marauder?

I'm happy. I remember asking on their Facebook page a few years ago if anybody out there still made WWII figures; I wasn't expecting Marauder themselves to jump on it, but I'm glad they saw there was a void to fill.

I’m excited but very nervous now. My heart has been racing since I read this. I’ve been taking great pains to set aside money for Kickstarters this year but didn’t expect one so soon.

I really hope we get some Russians and British figures in this line as well as the obligatory US Airborne vs Waffen SS....

I might need to grab another Ozzel for a Hitler custom.

I've been a huge WWII buff and would love to army build some WWII figures, but honestly I don't know that I will. I will pick and choose perhaps, or figure out some stuff I want to use for some dios with my already owned Tiger I, Panther, Panzer IV or Flak 88 I own from XD from 10 years or so ago, but building the armies I am with modern stuff, just can't afford it. The want is there, the finances are no longer there. I could drop $3K a year with MTF without even trying, but it's also the last GI Joe con coming up, registration soon, next payment FSS, and so on.
All the love to MJ though! |

I want some Italian soldier types, and more German types to fight. World war 2 civilians for partisans and as background would be PERFECT.
Maybe some commonwealth love would be nice for once. I'm not sure if it will be popular, but maybe some Japanese and Chinese troops as well as a very very long stretch goal? A boring roster of enemies to fight is really bad. More variety would be good, but only if financially feasible. |

I blend it all into a massive GI Joe narrative and I’m sure I’ll find something to add as a historical part of my story or even more likely something current with throw back attire - ie Sgt Savage.

These could be cool. I don’t know that I am ready to collect a whole new genre but at a minimum the new parts will lend themselves to some neat customs.
Of course, I’ve also been looking for an excuse to buy one of those 1:16 Trumpeter Panzer IVs. |

I probably won't buy many as I like the modern and future stuff more. I just hope that they continue to update the regular line as well.
