Thinking back I’m happy I subbed

Tomax Was a must for me to complete the two.
Jinx is also a must to add to my tigerforce.
Skidmark I need to to add to the ranks of ARAH collection.
Crystal Ball also is a must have
Budo is also a must have due to ARAH update
Ice Viper looks really good and I know I would buy him on the secondary market.
Cobra Commander I love arctic figures and glad to have this arctic commander.
Stalker is a figure I don’t need but looks great and like this version better than the original plus he is arctic
The rest look good but don’t need them. So I’m happy to sub.

Well, part of the ruse worked because I went and bought the Arctic Mindbender during the Black Friday sale to go with the Arctic Cobra Commander.

I have no will power.....
I folded like a cheap house of cards and subbed at the 11th hour yesterday.
I think it was all the annoying emails that the club sent out begging for us all to subscribe.
Here's to hoping that the 13th figure is a homerun and makes us all forget about this sh*tty lineup......

Looks like the sub period has officially closed. :--( Oh well, as they say you snooze you lose. I have a feeling I'll still be able to secure any/all figures that I want through other sources without having to hock the fine China, but it was always fun having monthly figures show up regularly.

TBH though, this sub just didn't thrill me. When I was doing the mental math and hemming/hawing last night I just couldn't see paying $400 for a sub of mostly filler and designs that didn't do much for me. That General Hawk in particular (using that rubber helmet that I hated when it first showed up on movie Ripcord) is just a bad design.

There are a few stand-out's from this wave to be sure- just so I'm not accused of sour grapes- but not enough greatness to justify spending that much $$$ for mostly filler.

We'll see how FSS 8.0 turns out as it could be that one brings me back to the fold. I still love all things Joe after all and I don't wish any ill will on the brand, but if you're going to ask $400 from me please don't waste our time with filler. It just feels... disappointing.

A complete miss for me. Stalker is probably the best and Budo was close (the legs are horrible).
