Adjusted the brown - and added back in the original figure for reference. Now that I look at it - The Club should have simply used the existing Retaliation HEAD - and paid the money for a NEW SCULPT helmet. THAT would have won the day. Oh, Club... even when you do 'good', you miss the mark.

Please do not take this as a personal attack. I have a really big problem with the mindset you are exhibiting here.
Why do we, the fans, who are shelling out almost $40 a figure, have to figure out how to fix the manufacturer's mistakes? I have said this since they developed those Duke wrists from 10 years ago. Why do we have to figure out how best to take a figure apart, and fix it so it 'works'. This drives me insane. Once they are in my house I think it should meet my design expectations not the designer or manufacturer. I didn’t take it personal and please don’t take my reply personal but to me it just makes sense to modify them and I enjoy doing it.

My major gripe is the flow is not good. The armor looks to be missing something because of how abruptly it ends from the bottom. They should have given him a lower skirt or something to finish off the armor look, even if it would not be vintage accurate. That's why I left the lower armor on my custom (though I had to modify it to be not so restrictive).
I am genuinely happy that I don't need the club Budo as I don't have an inside track on getting one. Although the headsculpt does look nice. Quote:
I agree with the Nunchuck legs. They are closer to the original. Has anyone started a thread to have the club change the legs to Nunchuck legs?

This is why they don’t want to show you guys all the figs before you buy, IMO.

These figures are the pits.
Whoever is coming up with majority of these kitbashes wether it be one person or a group - theyre not good at it. Theyre just not doing a good job. This Budo has really let me down. All that bulk upstairs and terrible leg choice make it completely out of proportion. Although one good point is that aliens wont be scrambling his brain anytime soon with that head protection i only wish they would paint it silver like tinfoil
