Amen. Hopefully Hasbro is gonna lay it down and and put the pedal to the metal. I'm 45 and not getting any younger. It would be nice to go to my grave knowing GIJOE will go on for many more years and generations.

I have a feeling if they do anything in regards to the classic characters, it will be a 1/12 scale line since that seems to be the direction the market is going.

I don't know about the 1/12 thing, but I definitely think Hasbro is gearing up for a big move. Though the 6" scale does seem where the figure market is going, and is a relatively untapped resource for the G.I. Joe brand, I am worried about another Sigma 6 debacle. I'm not a hater, but I didn't really like it (though I do admittedly own a few, lol), and I'm sure a lot of Joe fans feel the same. For whatever reason (ahead of its time, too big of a change, etc.), it didn't fly. I do think that the 6" scale could be a thing, though. They could reuse a ton of Star Wars/Marvel molds, and it could work. Another point in favor of a 6" Joe line would be the DC Multiverse 4" line cancellation, while keeping the 6" Multiverse line going. If it was in fact due to horrific sales like they said, that would definitely be a market preference indication if you ask me.

It would be cool if it was more of a wide spread release, not just a TRU exclusive. It would also be cool if it was more of limited production run like 2-4 waves a year over the next 3-4 years. Where it adds like 75-100 figures to everyone's collection and then it's done. Sprinkle in some con and specific store exclusives just to drive everyone and their OCD crazy trying find them. I recently started collecting 6" again with the Star Wars 40th waves and I'm also jumping in on the Marvel Legends retro figures. More so, if anything, to round out my collection so that it's not just Joes only. Adding a 6" Joe line would be fine with me and a welcomed addition to my collection..... |

If Hasbro revives the old style o-ring action figures from the 80's-90's and starts from where the line was cancelled (producing what was not produced at the time) or reissues the line again with some new characters using the same box design vehicles and cards for figures I will buy EVERYTHING they produce.

I'd rather pay $20 for a 6" figure than $25 for a 4" one. |

So if they are trademarking this logo, does that mean they will continue with the ARAH characters?

For the past ten years Hasbro has been nothing but hot air with these announcements. If your going to show a bunch of flashy logos then put out some MF toys for crying out loud!
