What's the average wages and cost of living in Australia and NZ? I can't imagine it being the same as in the US if a single carded joe figure costs $3 more than here.
If the're about the same then I really feel bad for you because that seems like a rip off to me.

The average wage in Australia is about A$62,000 for private / public sector. The average for retail workers is $44,000 or so. Big dichotomy huh?. Glad I'm not in retail anymore
Most of the time it's because of our geographical location. It sucks sometimes with shipping. |

The average wage in NZ is I think actually quite low, esp compared to Aussie. Minimum wage is only $12.50 an hour, which is alot less than aussies.
Must admit, was rather tempted to get the raven (but farmers had it at $120 with a discount, and interestingly the warehouse has its std price as $100), but the review you gave has put me off. The only place I was able to find scarlett was at kmart, which i paid full retail for. :-( |

I took this photo to show the scale of the new Night Raven compared to the original. I also included the Steel Crusher to show how small the new Raven is.

yes, the landing gear does fall back as soon as you try to push the plane. I also do think that it is a bit small.

Hey man do you have a Conquest you can compare it too? The reason I ask is because I have Conquests and if shown next to the Raven, I'd have a better idea of just how small it really is. The vintage one is freaking BEAUTIFUL. Quote:

No, I don't have a conquest but I just went and measured them. The new Raven is 20.5 inches long and 12.5 inches wide from wingtip to wingtip. The vintage Raven is 27.5 inches long and 17.5 inches wide from wingtip to wingtip.
I hope that helps.
