I dig this. If the regular 2-packs weren't so bloody expensive, I'd get them all for sure... and use them in my comics, no less!

I got the first wave of Combat Heroes but passed on the 2nd. I decided to stop getting these figures from the Marvel and Star Wars lines as well. I just had to draw the line somewhere.
I'm glad I stopped, since that Stalker is just too tempting. I'd hate to have to pay ~$20 for just one super-deformed Joe. |

A little too late I think. My Wal-Marts have been clearancing the Combat heroes for a while now.

A very cool set. If it's anything like the sets they did of Robot Heroes for the Transformers movie for Wal-Mart, it should be fairly priced (those were only $10.00 each; based on price increases, I'm sure these will be more, but probably in the 13-15 range). Hopefully the wave 3 Combat Heroes will make it out, in multi-packs like this if they're not released on cards.

I really like the Flagg backdrop. For some reason, these appeal to me, even though I did not think they would. I look forward to picking these up.

from a retial perspective... what a waste of cardboard. the figs are cool and all, but shouldn't there be something else inside the box? Like a vehicle or more figs? wierd.
