Yeah, I think it is, Bohen.
Steel Brigade-- Agree, most of the first few waves don't excite me. I'll get the green Heavy Duty for a standard Heavy Duty, then the SE figures, and MAYBE a Viper and Scarlett, but I'm not really looking at this as a chance to collect movie figures, you know what I mean? ;) |

I think the only way we're going to get most of those Resolute figures before 2010 is if Hasbro offers them up as another "Online exclusive pack." I doubt Hasbro will do this, however, because they'd rather make more money selling them individually to help recoup the costs of the molds. Last edited by Jmacq1; 05-26-2009 at 02:20 PM.. |

The Resolute figures likely won't be seen for a while. Maybe not even till mid-late 2010. It's not as simple as Hasbro just saying "put them out." They probably had/have the first several waves of ROC product plotted out to the end of the year before Waves 14 -16 were cancelled. They're not going to change up those assortments now, so the Resolute figures will have to get "peppered in" in later (2010) assortments.

The Res SE is my 4th most anticipated figure this year with the other 3 being expensive 1/6 scale stuff and at least those, I know when to expect them to come out.

Wet Down is already an official character. He is a retooled mold from Torpedo in a different color scheme, so Hasbro is already taking advantage of the character name license they already own.
We might see Wet Suit in the future if Hasbro still owns the right to the name license. This is why your seeing Nemesis Immortal instead of 'Enforcer' because, Lanard: The Corps, Hasbro's 3/ 3/4 millitary toy rival, bought, and copyrighted the name 'Nemesis Enforcer' and are sitting on it. And Hasbro won't pay the price to 'own' it back. True story, because I asked one of the Ron Dube's (Hasbro's chief designer) team members about the issue at JoeCon 2008 and he told me. Still don't get why he has Torches back pack, is that some pathetic attempt at a different type of oxygen tank? Breathing oxygen-acetylene blowtorch gas must be all the rage for deep sea operations these days....cmon Hasbro figure designers why not just throw in another Torpedo backpack and flippers...

Wet Down is nice and supposed to have long sleeves as opposed to the very disappointing Wet Suit update...Quarrel is a win but Flash makes no sense. Eel is meh (seems to lack detail, too much black, needs color) and Snow Job looks good no matter now you repaint him...
