Actually I was referring to the cheap molded look of the heads vs. how a real painted portrait looks with crisp detail. Going all the way back to Spy Troops, there's a world of difference between the "peach" skin that most of the figures have had. The Eagle Force final production heads are painted and imo SO much better. I feel like I'm buying an "adult" collectible. That "peach skin" looks too toyish and the details are hard to get just right. It makes the eyes not pop. I shouldn't feel like I'm only getting a slightly better product than Hasbro with this line, but I kinda do so far--at least in look. The build quality is definitely better than Hasbro. If they could just address that one thing, it would make a world of difference in the product.

I have yet to see how the Eagle Force heads look. I know that Chicken Fried Toys and Eagle Force are releasing a figure together (actually two). I believe it will be all of CFT's parts and production. That'll probably just be a standard "peach skin". |

I see what you're saying now. That's something that's crossed my mind when putting fully painted Star Wars or certain GI JOE heads on the cowboy bodies. It definitely stands out having a Retaliation Lift Ticket or 2012 Footloose head next to a WW2 marauder head or CFT head.
