I just got an email. It says that if you pledged in the calvary KS, you need to register on the CFT account. You will do your "backerkit" ordering on the CFT site. If you don't do it before they make the "backerkit" active, it will delay your order significantly.

I did the same. I have not received either yet. I assume that since I ordered them together, they will ship them together to save on postage.

I am in the same boat. I ordered them both and haven't gotten mine. As I recall, some of these are in hand and can be purchased from shows in person. But if you ordered online, you are stuck waiting until they all come in, maybe when it's convenient.

Here is the latest update. Some good stuff here:
“ If you have been paying attention (and I hope you have) you know that even though our friends at the factory have been taking a well earned break, we have continued to move things forwards on this side of the Pacific as much as we can. Always a ton of work to be done. That being said, I had a 3 hour call with our man on the ground in Hong Kong a few days ago, and have the latest updated timelines and information that we can share with you guys. While none of this is 100% concrete, it is the latest and most up to date info we have and can share. Wave 1.5 is still slated to the first project that will be completed when they return this week. It will take about a month to get the remaining parts made (they already have completed the manufacturing for the Gunfighter & Head Honcho), painted, and assembled. Parts for the other three builds, as well as the 2 accessory sets are in process already, but not complete. Paint and color choices, as well as use of existing paint masks is supposed to be dialed in, and expected to go off without a hitch. All color tweaks, remarks, and light revisions are in place, and no difficulty is expected. Due to the exponential rise in shipping costs, we will have to use ocean freight for this batch of items. That means that once these are completed and packed fo shipping around the end of March, it will take another 45 to 60 days to arrive here in the US and for us to begin processing preorders. Not ideal, but it is what it is. Paint sample and mold color selection is heavily in process for Buck-A-Roos and Boot Hill Loot wave 2. I posted a little sneak peek late this last week, and will follow up with more as it comes in. There are still tooling tweaks that need to be made to the torso fit and finish, as these use parts from the Cavalry Officer and Ranahan, and neither one of those new torso tools is correct 100% yet. The Cavalry Officer is (as I said) still in need to tooling revisions, but all colors and paint masks are already approved. Once the tooling issue is addressed, these will move forward with great speed. The plan right now is for them to ship with the Buck-A-Roos at the end of April, as long as no other monkey wrenches appear. The tooling for new parts on the wave 2 "Spaghetti Six" figures has been done and shared with you guys. I have not gotten samples in hand yet to approve, but at first glances, things look right. According to the planned timeline, we MAY actually get these earlier than the projected 12 month period between preorder and fulfillment. That's a big old MAYBE, so we will wait and see. Paint masters are complete in China, and I expect to see images to share with you guys late this week. Digital files have been transferred to China for vetting for the 1st two celebrity likeness figures (Keone Young, and W Earl Brown), along with files for the Modern Texas Ranger 2021 Summer Show figure, Eagle Force Wild Bill, and Big Tex. BT is still up in the air, but since most of the body tooling is being used elsewhere, we are going ahead and preparing to cut steel. Preorder information will go up for these, once we know that wv 1.5 is in transit. Kickstarter 2.0 Cavalry files are ready to submit for vetting, but we are going to push that a bit until the current batch has been completed and submitted to the tooling factory. You don't throw gasoline on a fire, and expect good things to come out of it, so we are slow playing all facets of this series at the moment. Allocation is still planned to go ahead any day now, as our IT guy is finalizing all the modules added to provide credit to backers, and link accounts using the KS info. Regarding allocation, there are still about 100 or so backers who have not registered using their KS email. What we are planning to do in this case is generate an account using your KS info, create a simple login PW for you that you will need to use, then immediately change, and give you access in that way. It's not ideal, and it taking some behind the scenes work, but it's best efforts all around right now. Lastly, but not least, as you may recall I spoke about more celebrities who voiced a serious interest in having their portraits added to our lineup. While there are no contracts in place yet, and all this is subject to change, I think it's okay to make those names public as we get ready to sign papers and being work in earnest: Michael Bell (v/o actor) Richard Karn Debbie Dunning There will be more for sure, it's just a matter of having some talks with the guys at Celebworx and making sure that things are a fit for everyone. Don't forget we are already working on stuff for our pal John Anderson and Peter-Angie Mayhew. We are very proud to be working with these fine folks and friends to bring some razzle dazzle and even a touch of class to our lineup from the Old West. That's all the news that is fit to print at the moment. As always, keep your eyes peeled on the horizon, and we'll put any news or information that you might need here 1st. Yee-Haw! (hey...maybe a Roy Clark & Buck Owens duo...)” |
