***COWPOKERS! HEAR ME!!!***
From FaceBook: "All right, all right, all right! It seems our shopping cart woes are now behind us, and you can now combine shipping for preorder items from Wave 1, Series 2. BE SURE TO CLICK THE "CREATE ACCOUNT" OPTION DURING CHECKOUT!! You will be able to log back in after that, and see your previous orders. A few notes before ordering, so do please read: 1) You cannot combine preorder items with in stock items. This is to prevent delays in shipping for those same in stock items. 2) You can also order multiples of each figure/SKU in those orders. Army build if you see fit. 3) I am sorry to say this, but base shipping has gone up for orders outside the US. I hate it as much as you do, maybe even more, but we have no control over it. My apologies. If you want to use a re-shipper or friend here in the US to help out, that is fine with us. 4) If you have currently placed a preorder, please go back, cancel, and place the combined order again. I will be doing so manually tomorrow evening if you have not taken care of it by then. 5) This preorder does not require payment up front, and will not be charged until mid-December of this year. As long as we hit minimum preorder numbers needed (500 pcs per SKU), then this will go forward. If not, it will be cancelled and rescheduled some time later. Please plan accordingly with your finances. 6) Payment will be taken by Stripe, so this means you have to use a Debit or CC for payment information. There will be a 24 to 48 hour period at the end which we will open up for Paypal payments, but that window is very short, and we encourage you to place the order with our current processor. 7) Due to significant price increases across all facets of production and shipping, our prices had to edge up a little. That being said, preorder prices are still $28 each, and once in stock next Spring and on our site these items will be set at $30 retail. This does give you a small price break overall for ordering early, as a thank you from us. I think that is every note of importance, but may need to add others to the list here. This is a bit of an experiment, so be aware that things can be a bit fluid. I hope that everyone is as excited as we are to move ahead on these movie inspired character designs. Let's get moving on those preorders and clear the goal ASAP!" You can preorder these bad boys here: https://chickenfriedtoys.com/pre-order/ Cowpoke! (I believe...) Quote:
The Wave 2 of Blanks + accessories and Cavalry Officer will be shortly after that in early 2021. Late January, early February is their goal. This current PreOrder (Series 1, Wave 2) will close on December 15th and payment will be taken then if the minimum order requirements are met. We should be seeing those in the Spring possibly! |

I don't know. I imagine I'll be shouted down for saying so but this looks bad to me. Low sales volume won't improve with even higher prices and they're having a hard enough time finding customers already. It might be better to lower the prices but increase the minimum quantity before the production will occur. Dunno. I doubt many customers are buying extras for fodder at these prices and I'm sure some potential customers just walk away when they see the prices.
It also makes me wonder if this line has any real legs left if they can't get 500 units pre-ordered in 90 days (mid-September to mid-December). Is interest really that low? JER seems to think so, and he ought to know. That being the case, snubbing PayPal customers until the final day or two in order to save (let's say) a half-percent on payment processing fees also seems rather shortsighted. Penny wise, pound foolish. I guess we'll see. Was there a second KS planned with females and braves and such or is everything just supposed to be pre-orders from now on?

Regarding Paypal, it is my understanding you have to process the payment from Paypal within 30 days of approval. So if a company doesn't charge until they ship, you will have to approve a payment when you order and then again when they ship more than 30 days later. I have run into this elsewhere. I suspect they are just attempting to not deal with that headache involved with Paypal. |

Boss Fight has gone up to $28 for their Court of the Dead figures. The price difference doesn't seem all that much to me.

With the new Pre-Order figures, do the ‘Shootist’ and ‘Town Tamer’ have any specific inspiration as some of the others so?
