Yeah, and I have been checking. I was being more sarcastic than anything. I really look forward to this line and want to see more. Though I did notice they are not updating their twitter.....that's too bad.

Plus, It's just too cool a project for me to pass up. So I hope I don't seem like traitorous scum or a fool, but I'm backing. |

I wouldn't call you a fool. Nor anyone else who chooses to back this project. I will just put this out there and face the wrath. This isn't ment to open old wounds or to stir up some shit but I feel it just needs to be said. The truth is without getting to much into it. The guy was a caster who did create some of, if not the best peices you could buy especially at the time. I think it was Magik a few pages back that said he had a small shop out of his house and he couldn't handle the work load. Regardless he got backed up and a snowball effect took place where a lot of people ended up getting screwed over in the end (myself included on what i would call a large order that I never recieved nor got my money back for). I don't think He set out to screw anyone on purpose but ultimately that's what the end result was and a lot of people are still understandably bitter about it. My personal issue with the whole situation was the lack of him accepting any responsibility and the fact that his "white knights" allowed the lack of accountability to happen. Its a wierd thing defend Funpub and your "white knighting" will get you put on blast in a hurry. Yet I have always got what I paid for with them. When you never receive items nor a refund the entire casting comunity got punished instead of addressing the actual issue. Now that that is off my chest I will again say that I am sure that if this project gets what it needs to get off the ground I am certain that the quality will be worth what you are paying for. I just personally won't give anyone my money that has screwed me in the past and its pretty easy for someone to just say that was years ago get over it when they weren't screwed over themselves.

Again, if you or anyone else have drama with Aly - PM him. Email him. Reach out to him on Facebook. Contact the local authorities and do something, ANYTHING, other than make it seem that people here are WK'ing just because we're tired of this drama AFTER THREE YEARS OF DEALING WITH IT. If someone wants to talk about Aly or the drama that happened, I'm sure there are PLENTY who are willing to talk about it. This thread is not the place. |

I like pizza.
...and that is my two cents. The only thing right now that has me irked is I have a ton of questions like: 1. I thought I saw somewhere mentioned that the badges were removable on the lawmen....is that true and will additional badges be available in the accessory packs they mentioned? 2. Is everyone's hat and gun belt removable? 3. This one is the biggest question.....another thing I thought I saw mentioned was something about removable vest and adding additional vest or such in the accessory packs.....are these figures going to have interchangeable arms so that they can have a coat on and coat off look? |

A couple of things:
1) 1st, I agreed several years back not to promote any of the casting stuff I did or was doing on the site. This was because the site does not allow addressing of feedback in the feedback forum, and even after you take care of a perceived issue, customers RARELY if ever go back and revise that feedback and I had a problem with that. It was a fair compromise and both they and I have stuck to that. 2) As part of that agreement, I was to refrain from discussing any cast part sales, current or past on the forums, in PM's or any other way. I've adhered to that strictly. The feedback was removed and it's been policed up where it's appeared throughout the forum. Also part of the agreement. 3) If you have a remaining issue, there are several other ways to contact me, but this forum is NOT one. At the very least you can hit the email tab on my personal profile and go from there. I admit freely to being slow, falling behind, and not taking time out from trying to catch up to hold hands through email. It's one of the reasons I've left the storefront closed for so long. 4) Let me point out that just because someone posts under an anonymous forum name that they, or one of their third cousin's mothers brothers had an issue with me in the past doesn't mean that it actually happened. Without real names and dates, there is no way to verify anything and several of the people stirring the pot here have openly and freely admitted that they have never carried on a transaction with me to begin with. If you contact me through the channels available, then have that information on hand. Like most people, I do not respond well to abuse or rudeness. 5) You can crap on my head all day long if it makes you happy in whatever corner of the internet you inhabit, but I'm not in this project alone. The other people who I am partnered with, and are contributing are all aware of this drama because I was up front with them about potential issues, and they chose to work with me any way. Take that for what you will. 6) I am currently here to answer questions about this project, and that alone. I won't be answering or addressing any of this dramatic crap here, because frankly it doesn't belong here, and there are other ways to handle it than public antics. I've had to apologize to the mods several times for policing this shit up. It's not their job and it needs to stop. Regarding questions about the figures in the KS, all the details are on the FB page if you read. All secondary (ie. NOT THE MAIN BODY) items are removable. The articulation is exactly the same as MTF. Badges are going to be packed in, and if you want them added on the coats, you glue them on yourselves. This will prevent any factory mis-application or glue smears messing up a part. The limbs do not swap, but they do pop apart at the waist just like the MTF figures because the armatures are exactly the same. If you have a question about the figures, and can't find an answer, ask and I'll answer it. To those of you who have spoken up and talked about the positive experiences, thank you. To the mods, once again, I apologize. To those who have shown interest in the project, and are planning to throw in despite what the naysayers are spouting, thank you. I hope you'll feel like it was worth the trouble when these arrive after manufacture. |

Alyosha, I fully intend to back this despite what others say. The work you and the others have done on this is fantastic. It fills a void in the collecting community and for that, I thank you!

Alyosha, I'm impressed by how long you've put up with all this crap-slinging. You must have the patience of a saint. I never intended to back this Kickstarter much simply because the subject matter doesn't interest me, and I'm not sure how sustainable a Wild West-themed product line would be. But I've never had any doubts as to this brand's legitimacy, because as has been stated before (and apparently needs to be stated again), CFT is NOT a one-man job, AND they've got excellent collaborators. Here's a quote from the press release:
"Working in partnership with lauded Boss Fight Studio and Smalljoes.com..." So if you want to disparage this project simply because of the purported rep of one contributor out of many, I think you're barking up the wrong tree. At this point, it's clearly about the quality of the product, which is obviously going to deliver, based off the numerous prototypes shown. So instead of all this talk about "trust" and "scamming", let's talk about the product like civil adults; what we want to see from the product, suggestions and ideas, and where it could go from what is planned. In any event, I'll still keep my eyes on the Kickstarter, if for no other reason than to see if I can grab some accessory kits.
