Thanks all to those who backed! Great to see things wrap up at over 110k. John and Paul announced they will unlock the belt/holster set as a thank you to add on in the survey (which should be in a month or so on the website).

This Kickstarter made no sense. It was promoted with a horse's theme and yet horses were only included in the stretch goals. And none of those stretch goals were reached. The minimum funding amount should've been set at a level where horses would be produced if it funded. And of course, there should've been pledge levels that included horses explicitly. Normally Kickstarters for toys reach most or all of their stretch goals. This one had stretch goals set up to $440,000 and only reached $110,000 and only 4 out of 39 stretch goals. I don't think it's because people didn't want the horses. I think it's because there were no pledges you could make where you were guaranteed the horses if the Kickstarter funded. I don't know how the cavalry's going to get to where they're going. Hitchhike?

No one got the 100 figure army builder pledge, since it was TROOPER figures only (no NCO's or officer), meaning only one figure qualified. Did anyone want 100 of the same trooper? Guess not. Last edited by Sean_C; 12-07-2020 at 07:08 PM.. |

I've pretty much stopped backing action figure kickstarters. If the 6 I still have outstanding deliver, maybe I'll reconsider. The one exception I'd probably make is Marauder. Especially if they do Vietnam.

Not an if, the when on Vietnam. I was in the event that Marauder hosted at Joefest, and it will be a great kickstarter when it launches. Hoping by end of January if we're not in civil war for real.

Can you imagine a Civil War 2021 kickstarter? One side will have college student action figures with tight pants and I Love My Fur Baby tshirts and the other side will be Bubba and Brandi rednecks with cow manure stained boots and wife-beater shirts.
