He admitted that he was well aware of that, but that "management" directed him to make this figure anyways. By "management", I don't know if he meant Brian (which I was guessing he did), or could he possibly have meant Lanny? Who knows? I didn't ask any further. I believe now that the reason he was excited about this figure sculpt was because even though we didn't want this character, it created the head sculpt of a character which might not otherwise be produced. I suspect that a Mike Power Atomic Man figure might be a membership incentive figure or some other type of GIJCC product in the near future.

I have trouble remembering sometimes myself, but the card art shows a damned scar!

I kept looking through the bubble thinking "maybe that's a scar, or maybe that's a shadow."

Maybe like with the Colton Con set they'll put a loose Mike Power in a 12" Mike Power set and also sell him carded.

Could somebody that has both, please post a picture of Xamot, and this head side by side: Male Head:"Trooper" Light Skin Tone with Brown Hair - 1:18 Scale MTF Accessory for 3-3/4" Action Figures because they seem to have damn near the same face to me. A little sculpted hair parted to the other side and you've got Tomax.

I'm not quite opposed to Shattered Glass, but was Xamot really the best character to represent it? I can't even find any real info on Shattered Glass, so I really don't know. But he seems like a lame choice to do so. A character whose pretty much built on the creepy twins schtick, is now a schizophrenic single child?
I thought the point of Shattered Glass was to flip the morality on both sides, at least in the TF SG series. An evil Joe, or good-hearted Cobra seem like a better pick than an evil-leaning Cobra swapped with a...still kind of evil-leaning Cobra? Would've been easily taken in by an evil Flint or Snake-Eyes, or a heroic Major Bludd. But Xamot without his twin? Ehhh. |
