Do we know if BBTS will carry these? The reason I ask is because I may be interested in a one of each case like they would usually sell of the last tow asortments. I know I shouldn't be this antsy but I am real nervous that TRU will bungle the online distribution again, they did get caught up but when the last wave was released they weren't online for a while, then when they were the sought after short-packed packs weren't available online and then finally when they were you had to get on them the day they posted them or you would miss them. I have gotten clearance to get one of each pack and extras of the two good troop building packs and want to make sure I can easily go online and purchase them when the time comes.

Yea sorry I meant EE, I was thinking of their arrangement not BBTS, my brain just swapped the two for some reason. Appreciate the correction.

Oh, in that case, I don't know for certain that EE will have a preorder for them, but they did last year. Guess we'll see.

It was stated at the con that both TRU and EE would carry the line.

What is the difference between EE and BBTS? Besides them being different online retailers?

BBTS is more focused on individual and set purchases, EE is more wholesale distribution (solid cases, etc). Hastings (a local specialty chain) has had an account with EE for some years now, so they've carried EE exclusives, in addition to their own.

Think of them as Target vs Costco:

I'm one of them, I have a fair amount of the 2015 versions, but Ebay was my only opportunity to grab the more classic styled ones. Which got prohibitively expensive very quickly for building up even a moderate squad. Coming in a two pack with the viper is a nice bonus too.

If it is, which I am pretty sure you are going to verify, that's pretty cool to have another place to go to, besides TRU's, to get these figs. I wonder how many Hastings stores there are, and if they are all over, or regionally. I know, I have NEVER seen, or heard of one, anywhere in the NY/NJ area. |
