I prefer Hasbro Con to HasCon, and I'm glad they are planning *something*
JoeCon has been a highlight of my year every year since 2012 and I'll be sad if something comparable isn't there to fill the gaping hole in my heart after the last JoeCon this summer. |

The flood of butthurt over something not yet fully manifested is nearly over the levies.

This rumor of an all in one con has been around for years and now we are getting closer and closer to fact. Unit-E was a test of the waters. Hasbro may elaborate more during Joecon. Other than Joecon and MLP there are not too many Hasbro property based conventions out there left to have a show this year are there? Any reasons to hold back information on Hasbro-con are slowly disappearing. Having a con purely focused on one thing I like is certainly a nice thing to have. Trek, Star Wars, even Quantum Leap have/had their own cons. Wish I had gone to one of those Quantum Leap conventions, oh well. I would consider going to a Hasbro con, since I do like some of their other properties. I just need to convince some others who attend con to go too. It could be a good thing, I mean instead of three days of panels that may or may not appeal to everyone, we may have two or three excellent panels amidst a sea of other choices. At Star Wars Celebration there was a panel on...cereal boxes. At least I got a free...empty box. Hey I had a nice nap too. JIMSMASH ! ! !: STAR WARS CEREAL

I'm fairly certain the levies gave way about 3 years ago around here. We're all just waiting for someone to air lift us to safety, before we starve to death.

Now that is not fair Diana...

JoeCon has been a nice thing, but no one can claim it hasn't shrunk over the years. I have no clue what the future brings, but, and I preface this by saying the people who work for FunPub are wonderfully nice people, and the people who go year after year are great...it's not really so much a con anymore. Who knows what will happen at a multi universe con...but when something is growing weaker, if you have a strong relative to hold you up, you might just make it and gain strength again. |

My main concern is what type of merchandise will be offered with regards to Joe. I doubt that the box set format will continue, but if it does, I hope it will be more readily available.

But if they can pull off the expanded combined movie-verse...this will be epic!

There is not much here beyond what we already knew. I am interested to see what happens with the joe line, and I think we will get some sort of announcement at joe con this year.
