I think it looks like Resolute SE with extra chest and forearm armor. A ninja with a visor pretty much evokes SE. They could have made the visor a little bigger, but otherwise it looks pretty good to me.

What's up with those toothpick arms? I get stuff being "stylized" but this is ridiculous.
If you dig it, more power to you, but I wouldn't add this to my shelf for $20 let alone $300. What is so hard about taking the Marvel/Sunbow character models and making them super-articulated 6 or 12 inch figures? It seems like such a no-brainer. Even Sideshow insisted on adding all their own unecessary little "artistic" flairs which killed any interest I had in their line. Oh well. More money for other toy lines I guess. (Like fwoosh's ninjas, that actually DO look like 6 inch versions of the Sunbow Storm Shadow.) |
