Gratz to hasbro on thier success. But I don't buy that hasbro management is superior. That 3 box techinque appears to be a rehash of existing basic business practices. I think the recent success is because Hasbro did 2 things well:
1) they let movie studios relaunch the Transformers brand for them. 2) They got more business from disney |

I see Hasbro making a Shiva figure to symbolize their thought of GI Joe right now. That will be the SDCC figure this year.

I'm a little confused why we're all still begging at the table that is Hasbro. Frankly, we don't need them. We all know that Hasbro has no confidence in Joe anymore and that fine. With the alternative crowd funding model, we can get exactly what we want. Sure, it won't have the G.I. Joe "TM"...and characters would have to differ enough so that Hasbro won't cry foul, but we have the ability to make the next move. We have the ability to design and implement the future of Joe.

The next line of Joes will be 7 inch figures. They sell for more money, they are what everyone else is making, and the extra plastic is just a few pennies more.

Wow, did anyone actually READ the article and/or pay attention to the explanation of box 2 given?
The funny thing is I don't even need to read the comments on here anymore, I can read just about any news item and immediately know exactly what is going to be said. |

We know what it said. We are just trying to make ourselves laugh given that it seems that we care more about Joe then Hasbro does right now.

A brand that's not on shelves is by default either in box 2 or at best box 3. |

From what I see GI JOE is in Box 2 AKA "Destruction Mode".
