Underwhelmed. Thought this might have some relation to the Fisher Price Adventure People, which if done well, I would be interested in. Have never heard of Captain Action, but looks a bit like a rip off of Captain Scarlet.

As for the "Adventure People" title and this Kickstarter having nothing to do with the old Fisher Price line; my understanding is that Zica toys had been working on the Captain Action aspect for a while, and only recently acquired the Adventure People name. So they decided to incorporate everything under one umbrella line. They also got the Remco name under similar circumstances. So, if you want to see them do modern updates of the Adventure People proper, I would recommend supporting this initial Wave of figures. I mean, if they hold no appeal at all I get that, but I think their groovy 60's retro-future vibe will look pretty cool on the shelf. |

Those headsculpts look great, but I am not so interested in Captain Action. I can see an awesome M. Bison here. Adventure People will be impossible to resist. Hopefully they make it. That is after I drop a small fortune on Eagle Force.

agreed , head sculpts are amazing but the rest of the figure is pretty useless to me .as much as i wish them well with their kickstarter , there is nothing here for me this time. I had many action Jackson figures/sets when I was young and the character here bears no relation to the toys I remember and cherish . I may be persuaded to invest in the eagle force kickstarter , because , while I never knew or owned any originals , I can see how I can use/integrate them into my G.I Joe / Marauders collection.

I'm assuming not a lot of people here are familiar with the Super Joe line that Hasbro did back in 70's. This is what we're going for with the particular wave of figures.

I understand that you obviously have a business plan for the kickstarter , however , if you sold a head set for say , the same price as an individual figure , you might get a lot more pledges . just speaking for myself , I might be persuaded to buy 1 just for the heads but I would like to know in advance the shipping/packing costs as they are not displayed.
