for me it is a match made in heaven! Bring on the Gi Joe Mask crossover! don't care if it's the 3 inch scale or the scale of the old Mask toys. Either way we win!

All I care about at this point is Kreo. I really thought that new characters we saw in the last con set implied that there would be more kreo offerings in some form. At any rate, I hope the club keeps making them at least!

I would not be upset about a 3-way crossover of MASK, JOE and Micronauts. I could use a Membros or Reptos. As long as its 4 in ME articulation. Its called cross merchandising and if its all DG paint jobs I am all in. They all need a Cartoon plain and simple, otherwise they are just trying to pull water from a stone.

My personal theory is that a potential "MASK" revamp isn't going to be too "MASKy" for old timers. The name "Mobile Armored STrike Kommand" I feel gels well with a smaller figure format that has gained traction in the Marvel segment (and I know of some shocked Star Wars didn't get a 2.5" line this year).
My personal "brand theory" remains this: MASK would become a GI Joe "sub brand" like Transformers Cyberverse: a smaller scale used to mitigate rising costs and allowing some expression of the massive vehicles and, dare I say, playsets, the old line was famous for. Human Alliance and even select Sigma Six 2.5 figures showed decent articulation is completely possible at that scale. Could also become a "brand theme" like Titan and become a "official" element to things like the Marvel 2.5" stuff and Star Wars, eventually. A 3.75 lower articulation line with vehicles as a "core" line (like movies or cartoons), and 6" line for collectors. Action Man would be a "brand theme" like Hero Mashers or Titans, a singular style of product. Maybe an attempt to bring back some of the old "doll-like" elements of the old 12 or even Sigma Six 8" figures. But it's just a theory.

If Micronauts gets a comic book, SL Gallant will most likely being drawing it because he loves the franchise, and has been actively petitioning IDW / Hasbro on social media to assign him to the artwork if the book happens. He showed me some Mirconaut Artwork he did this year at Baltimore Comic Con.
I'm with Destro on this one though. Keep MASK out of my GI Joe. We have too many wonderful characters never getting any spotlight to start drafting from other sources.
