Only current backers were told about the suits (about 38 hours ago). The main kickstarter page for this campaign neither pictures nor even mentions the suited figures anywhere in ANY way (and apparently it won't until the $100k mark is reached). I don't think it's even on their Facebook page anywhere (I took a quick peek and I don't see it - correct me if I am wrong). As it stands, the average passerby to the kickstarter page would have to go read the full text of update #8 to even know about the suits (or any of the other news it contained) unless they read it here on the 'Tank or another 3rd party site. Nothing on the campaign's kickstarter main page, nothing on Facebook, and seemingly nothing on Twitter from MJ about the suits. (Does MGR even have a Twitter account? I can't find one.)
I'm not sure how people who might otherwise be interested in them are supposed to reliably be expected to tell they even exist as an option yet. So a referendum - for or against suits - it is clearly not at this point. I would wager a lot of people are unaware of the content of that update. At least one comment indicates that someone actively backing the campaign wasn't even aware of it until reading something in other backers' comments: The marketing on this update has been a bit of a miss. Add info to the front page prominently and it will probably have some better impact. I'm kinda wondering if MJ and his crew have reached the point where they're just a bit overwhelmed between trying to keep up with orders, attending conventions, and running the Kickstarter. That can't be easy and I don't imagine we're talking about a particularly large organization.... |

Man, I'm really disappointed by the exosuit digi-sculpt. It got all bottom-heavy with completely different feet that are way bigger than the drawing shows. I'm still in for a Pick 6, but I'm thinking I may just stick with Doggos and Vals, now.

Agency Ops info has been added to the KS main page:
When we pass the $100K pledge level, we will ADD a NEW "Agency-OPs" figure in Suit as another Stretch Goal! A Marauder Task Force figure in a BUSINESS SUIT, with a BONUS Dress shirt torso AND BONUS rolled up sleeve forearms! NOTE: will add design images once we pass $100K and reveal where the Agency Ops figure will be positioned in the current unmet stretch goals.

We've reached the $100K mark. Now we'll have to wait for them to post the images of him.

Really like the look of that suit. The plain button down shirt is even more appealing than the suit jacket to me, and I've been one of the ones hoping for suits for ages.

Okay, I'm back... Sorry, I was busy getting us past $100K. So, what's been going on? Any news?
