It shouldn't be too hard to swap hands and paint the neck. That's what people did with WWII figures.

I don't think it's unreasonable to be shocked and disappointed at that kind of a lag between male bodies with shorts and female bodies with shorts. That's just a staggering delay.

I feel the same way. I've been looking forward to this Vietnam thing for a while. But Classified has really burned a hole in my pocket and will probably continue to do so. A bit sad to say but I feel like moving on from 1/18th to strictly 1/12.

I'm on the verge of that decision. I have considered completely packing away my 3.75" stuff a few times in the last month or so. What keeps me from doing it are the Retaliation Ultimate Cobra Commander (the one that looks like the Sunbow version), the Club's female Cobra Troopers, and a few Marauder things. None of those have analogues in Classics yet. But compared to Classified, I'm starting to find 3.75" stuff frustrating to pose and keep from falling down. If my cat or daughter wiped out any one of my shelves, I bet I'd just put them all away at this point.

To me, it is interesting to see how a company like Marauder develops. I remember the initial KS and I was not interested at all because of the armored legs and arms. To me, the look too Aliens-Marines-Sci-fi. So, it wasn't until the Contractor-Ops and when they started offering cloth legs and forearms that started buying their figures.
Now, it looks like they are moving further away from the body-modular figures to exclusive modular gear. Even with the new Ultra figures, I hope they figure out a way with a boot strap or something to allow a boot knife. I'd love to hear from someone like Slaymaker, who was at both Mayhems and has close ties to the company to explain the differences between the Mayhem 1 and Mayhem 2 reveals, because Vietnam, Ultra, etc. were all mentioned at Mayhem 1 also. So, I'm wondering if those were word only or if they had design presentations at Mayhem 1. Also, still waiting on the head sculpts that were revealed at Mayhem 1, which some people got grey casts of. Hopefully they hit the sight soon. Jason |

It's interesting to me too. It also makes me wonder, what if Hasbro gave the greenlight for Marauders to start producing updated Joes and Cobras? 16 figures per year, covering every figure from 1982 and beyond, how successful would they be? I mean look at them now. They have Tobe doing pretty good right?
