So I know that ebay used to have a thing for shipping overseas, you could basically ship to a domestic hub and then ebay would ship overseas for you.
I don't know if they even still do that, but I wonder if you went through ebay or another third party if that would work? |

no, because, again, it's still requires them to register in any EU nation or the UK that they sell to and then file tax returns and sales info.
I heard Canada and Australia might have something similar in the pipeline, so MTF business is going to wind up coming down to the US and dependent territories and bog all else. |

This so sounds like a buy EU only program. Hopefully it doesn't fuck up their economy too badly.

It's an effort by countries to collect taxes they're legitimately owed in a new economic environment that past laws weren't adequate to deal with.

Then the buyer should pay the taxes - because taxation without representation is THEFT. Pretty sure we settled that in 1776. ;)

So does the Vietnam kickstarter go live after Joe Fest or is that just when they're going to give a sneak peek of what's to come?

I'm guessing yes to both questions, but just a matter of how long after they return from Joefest before it launches. I would say after Fourth of July if I was betting, because they'll need to get home, receover, and put stuff away, before setting into the Kickstarter.
However I fully expect that we'll see most of if not all the Vietnam Kickstarter info and images at the Marauder Mayhem event. At least I hope so. |

Right, but what if Ebay would be the one doing the paperwork? Or act as the distributor.. so the seller would only have to register their sales to ebay, and ebay would do all else |

I wonder how much money I could make if I became a “Plastic Crack” smuggler for Europe and Canada?
Or should I convince Elon Musk to actually make a M.A.S.S. Device?

Unless there are other tax implications, it's something I would definitely pilot test if I were MJ, but we're on the outside looking in. Assuming he wants all the business he can get, he must have his reasons if he isn't entertaining the idea. Maybe he will, one day. In the meantime, just plan on using either a trusted US contact or a professional re-shipping service. You UK and EU buyers are not out of the game, you just need to work with the consequences of your UK & EU protectionist policies.
